Health Concerns:
- Breathing Issues due to being a brachycephalic breed (short muzzle),
- Luxating Patella’s (loose kneecaps that can range from not causing an issue to needing surgery to keep them from popping out of place)
- Juvenile Hereditary Cataracs's (parents can be screened to make sure off springs are not affected)
Recommended Health Testing: JHC (Juvenile Hereditary Cataracs), B.A.E.R. (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response)- hearing, C.A.E.R. (Companion Aniam Eye Registry) - eyes, patella's (knee's) & Cardio (heart).
*B.A.E.R. & C.A.E.R. must be performed by specialist.

Boston Terriers are very loving and loyal breed. They live for love from their humans. They crave attention and love from owners. Although they are classified as an active breed, they can be couch potatoes as well. They love nothing more than to snuggle in your lap. Boston's can be very versatile and adapt to many different lifestyles. If you are an outdoor family who likes to camp and hike or you prefer to stay inside and go out for a walk, a Boston would fit either family!
